The Serenity Library & Botanical Garden | A Preserved Natural Heritage | Ghandhinagar

Few months ago there was a event “Apocalypse” organized by the KBIPER at ghandhinagar. so we decided to stay at ghandhinagar for three days. The event was only for two days but we decided to stay one more day to visit any good place there. we planed to visit few places but none of them looked interesting, then my friend mohit suggested us to visit serenity library & botanical garden. In starting it did not sounded good to us, but we still decided to visit. After visiting that place we realized it was a such a beautiful place.

so let me tell you something more about that place, I’m going to beginning with their history.  Mr. Firdos Cambatta, the founder of The Serenity Trust decided to create on his 40,000 sq. mtrs., open piece of land a botanical garden and a nature library to connect a people’s life with our natural heritage. They aimed to educate school children of their rich natural heritage and create awareness in them as to what can be done for posterity.

The Library

Those people at serenity are doing such a excellent job, in other word they are saving & preserving our natural heritage, It is like a heaven for nature loving people, specially like me. I can say that its a great place for nature photography. I’ve taken some good photographs of that place, that I’ve posted.

They have about 800 species of indigenous & exotic plants which have been planted over the last 20 years and which have now grown to reasonable maturity.

They also have a butterfly garden which houses many species of butterflies. unfortunately i was unable to click them.
